Bully Poem
Bully PoemAlone, alone, all alone, an’ that’s not what I wanna be. The day is gray; I wanna play, but ain’t nobody’ll play with me. I’m sittin’ alone with a deep dark frown, just a-waitin’ for the rain t’ come down. The rain’ll be just like my mood; it’ll fit right in with my attitude, an’ I’ll sit right here on this roadside, an’ nobody cares that my spirit died. Alone, alone, all alone, an’ that’s not what I wanna be. The day is gray; I wanna play, but ain’t nobody’ll play with me. I’m sittin’ alone with a deep dark frown, just a-waitin’ for the rain t’ come down. Ain’t nobody to hold me tight; ain’t no lovin’ to make me bright; ain’t no answers come to my sight; loneliness drives me into the night. Alone, alone, all alone, an’ that’s not what I wanna be. The day is gray; I wanna play, but ain’t nobody’ll play with me. I’m sittin’ alone with a deep dark frown, just a-waitin’ for the rain t’ come down. Won’t somebody find me here? Won’t somebody dry my tear? A bit of huggin’s what I lack, somebody warm against my back Alone, alone, all alone, an’ that’s not what I wanna be. The day is gray; I wanna play, but ain’t nobody’ll play with me. I’m sittin’ alone with a deep dark frown, just a-waitin’ for the rain t’ come down. Please, somebody, with your arm, come an’ shelter me from harm; the lovin’ I need, I ain’t got, an’ I can’t figure out why not
